This standard operating procedure (SOP) provides employees with <br />guidance to use whenever an employee is faced with a decision regarding dutie s, actions, <br />conduct, or interaction with o thers both on and off the job. The department does not intend <br />to regulate off-duty behavior of employees except when it endangers the safe and orderly <br />operation of the department or brings discredit to the department.
